As we closed down the last year and moved into the holiday season, I had the fun idea to record a few Christmas carols and post them to my socials! I called it the 12 Days of Christmas Carols and it was a huge hit. I put together a highlight reel of what I sang and here it is to ring in the new year.
I’m already planning a much more intricate version for the end of this year, and you’ll have to make it through 2025 in order to see what I’ve got up my sleeve. 😉 This project was a lot of fun because I got to showcase that skill of mine, something that does play into Voiceover but not necessarily in a primary way unless roles call for singing.
For those that don’t know me very well, you won’t know that I love to sing. I can be found out mid-week at Karaoke somewhere in the East Bay. Generally at Retro Junkie in Walnut Creek.
Another small win was being asked to sing the National Anthem. Happy to say that I absolutely nailed it! Several veterans of the Real Estate community I sang for approached me after the event and congratulated me on one of the best renditions they’ve heard since it started. Definitely makes me proud of what I have accomplished this year!
